Faces of Harajuku

The last few years I developed a fascination for the Asian culture in a visual sense. Not so much the reasons why or if there is a philosophy surrounding it but just the quirky, cartoonisch, approach to things. One might even call it 'New surrealism' or 'Pop surrealism'. Like I've posted before this I stumbled upon and surprised me in a good way.

Look at how they alter there appearance to look more, uhmmm manga? Look at the eyes, the bright colors, I've always been a sucker for bright colors. I've never been tempted to present myself in such a way and still it intrigues me.Just take a look and enjoy! And for another gallery go here!
