Cool skinz for your iPod

I usually hate skins you can put on you iPod, Xbox, Xbox 360, PS1, PS2, PS3 or whatever gadget. This because most skins are so lame and half-ass. I do think that the guys and galls at Gelaskins do a fine job only putting the coolest and the best designed skin in their store. Click here for Gelaskins.

Jimmy Page with The Black Crowes

Yesterday I found a piece of paper in my snailmail box from the postal service. The piece of paper said that they had a package for me that's to big to put in my mailbox. The package is from the USA. Since I'm only expecting one package from the USA, two pro-shot (that's what the trader said) VHS tapes of the Black Crowes with Jimmy Page. I'm glad to say that they have arrived and they are not lost in mail. The only thing is that the oppertunity I have to pick them up on Saturday.

I'm really curious about the quality and will keep you updated as I capture them to DVD.

The results are in. I'm a Big Thinker

Via the I came across this BBC Personality Test. I did the test and I'm Big Thinker.

Summary of Big-Thinkers

  • Outspoken, ingenious and bored by routine
  • Think of themselves as talkative, curious and self-sufficient
  • May neglect the routine work required to make their plans successful

More about Big-Thinkers

Big Thinkers are always looking for the next big idea or opportunity. They’re adept at spotting trends and thinking on their feet. Big Thinkers like to jump in and find innovative solutions to complex problems and are good at developing strategies for the future.

In the UK, Big Thinkers are most likely to book a holiday at short notice, according to a nationwide survey.

Big Thinkers are usually curious, logical and energetic. This chatty group enjoys a good debate and asserting their opinions. Sometimes others may find the way they express their ideas too abrupt or challenging.

In situations where they can't use their talents or are unappreciated, Big Thinkers may be rude, critical of others or rebellious. Under extreme stress, Big Thinkers can become preoccupied with unimportant details and lose sight of the 'big picture'.

Big Thinkers may ignore important details in their plans and overlook the impact their ideas have on the people around them.

Big-Thinker Careers

The entrepreneurial spirit of the Big Thinkers often leads them to seek new challenges; this is often more important to them than working in a particular field or a specific career.

Test yourslef and let me know what you are.

Saab Areo X

I'm not a car enthusiast, though this car is the first in my thirty one years that really caught my attention. Somehow I love the shape and curves, wow what a piece of art. Like the heading says it's the Saab Areo X, a concept car. For more Saab go here!

The Simpsons

I just wanted to show you some funny clips of the Simpsons, clips that make me laugh. Cheers

Sit on my face

At this moment the people living in the south part of the Netherlands are celebrating carnival. With that in mind, not that I celebrate such an event, would like to go along and throw this Monty Python clip at you.

Here are the lyrics

Sit on my face and tell me that you love me
I'll sit on your face and tell you I love you, too
I love to hear you oralize
When I'm between your thighs
You blow me away
Sit on my face and let my lips embrace you
I'll sit on your face and then I'll love you truly
Life can be fine if we both sixty-nine
If we sit on our faces in all sorts of places
And play, 'til we're blown away

Cheers & enjoy!

Marc Ford is coming to Europe!!!

Man, things couldn't get better, Marc "Fuckin" Ford will do a tour in Europe. As of now I don't know where or when but I do know I will go at least one show! In the meantime his website has been in full development for a while and Weary and Wired, his new album, will be released on March the 13th! Yeah this will become a good musical year for me!

MARC FORD New 2007 Weary & Wired CD

Taken from a press release!

"New 2007 Solo CD for Black Crowes Guitarist Marc Ford. Ford put his stylized guitar stamp on the Black Crowes' records "The Southern Harmony and Musical Companion,""Amorica" and "Three Snakes and One Charm" as well as making two additional records with the band, "Tall" and "The Band" which were recorded in the 90's and were previously unreleased until 2006. This new 2007 Solo CD shows Marc's strength as a singer/songwriter, fueled by large doses of his phenomenal guitar work that brings to mind such masters as Clapton, Hendrix and Beck."

VBS.TV - The indie TV channel

This might be the future of television, real indie television. VBS is an 24 hour, 7 days a week, free of charge, age-restriction-free, broadband TV channel. That allows all things that you won't see on cable.

With Spike Jonze (Adaptation, Being John Malkovich) as there creative director they carry a mix of domestic and international news, pop and underground culture coverage, and the (so they claim) best music in the world. People have used words like eclectic, smart, funny, shocking, and revolutionary to describe VBS.

Still nothing from YouTube

So, I noticed more traffic to this blog, especially because of the fact that YouTube deleted my account. First thank you for your interest, secondly don't give up hoping. I might jump over to MySpace and see what happens there. But for now, since I still don't have a working internet connection (Tele2 sucks!!!!), I won't be uploading. Also I don't know why I've been suspended, never got an email giving me a reason. So keep on checking this blog and I'll keep everybody updated =).

Kenny - A knight in shining overalls

I just this movie yesterday and I have to say it's the funniest I've seen in a while. I kept on laughing afterwards. The dialogue and monologue are brilliant, the acting is brilliant, it's freakishly funny. Here are some quotes.

Kenny: From the back she looked like a fridge with a head.
Kenny: This is the busiest time of year, this is a crazy time, it just goes bonkers. It's as silly as a bum full of smarties.
Kenny: Busier than a one-armed bricklayer in Baghdad.
Kenny: Mad as a Clown's cock.

Go see the trailer here!

Tele2 Sucks even bigger!

Now Tele2 tells me that I should have my modem by week 7.

Today, three years ago I stopped smoking. I used to smoke about 2 to 3 packs of Marlboro. I celebrated this by getting a new Ventolin dispenser/inhaler. I've had inhalers before, but the last few weeks I've been out of breath too many times.

Marc Ford - Weary and Wired

Okay, in the spirit of religion I forgive him for believing, lol. On the other hand it seems that after splitting with the Black Crowes again he hasn't been a lazy dog. The samples on his MySpace page don't lie and show his musicianship ones again. For one I really like Featherweight Dream! Go over to his MySpace page and have a listen. There also seems to be a bit of rumbling going on over at his other shack at let's hope it will be rockin' and a rollin'.
