Okay, me posting Kari Byron on this blog was a good thing to do because it got me a lot more hits. So here we go with more pics of her in a higher resolution then before.

I bumped onto this campaign over at AdverBox and thought it was nice enough to show you guys.

James Brown - Sex Machine

So the Master of Soul has passed away. The influencer of all music that uses (actually steal) samples of his song. Another king is gone, it's a shame but also the way of life. Please look at this wonderful version of Sex Machine.

I gotta work

Last Thursday a client of ours (at work) came with a big job for us to do, it should be good for half a million. That's the reason why I'm going to work tomorrow and sit on, under or besides my desk to nail this concept. I have about two days to get the job done with my new 'Concept buddy' Eddy. Never done any creative work with him but I have to since my regular mate is on a holiday. So wish me good luck.

More Black Crowes bootlegs on the way!

I'm in the process of getting some (actually the ones above) VHS tapes of concert registrations of Jimmy Page with the Black Crowes for all to enjoy on a later date. I do believe that both are available on DVD already but these could be from a different source. Still I want to release them to the wild so be patient and next year you'll see some new El Gordo Productions on the Bootleg Traders scene!

Bring out the champagne!

I moved on Monday and to celebrate this wonderful moment I had to bring out my favorite champagne 'Veuve Clicquot Ponsardin'. Did that mean that my bathroom was finished? No, but today the bathroom guy will put in the finishing touches and I will be able to shower in my new home tonight =) If you want to have an impression of my bathroom you should click here! In the meantime I showered at my old house.

No cage is big enough

Nice campaign!

High resolution Kari Byron

Wooohoo, I have digital TV these days and can enjoy the wonderful beauty of Kari Byron in high res, not HD b.t.w. Mmmmmm redhead Kari Byron, another woman who makes me watch a television program.

Hmmm, I was just thinking while looking to the above picture. It may be that I have a 'Pippi Longstocking' syndrome. Not that I ever had a crush on Pippi but Kari is one sweet piece of redheaded candy.

The fact that I'm moving, a change in ISP and a about a week of from work, means that I'm not going to be able to update much. I'm going to be back online, if everything works out well, by the 2nd to the 6th of January. In the meantime I might update but cannot guarantee.

The Black Crowes - Wistertime (Live)

'No time left now for shame
Horizon behind me, no more pain
Windswept stars blink and smile
Another song, another mile'

Read all about it!

Danzig with some classic hard rock song

Danzig - Mother (Live)
It's funny for me to think that I used to listen to this song quit regularly, I believe I have this on CD with some of there other songs. But I have to say that to me this is a classic hard rock song and the band is definitely underrated. Enjoy!

Me and my first screwdriver set!

This is my first screwdriver set ever! Maybe it's my last because I don't like doing chores like driving them screws in different places. But now I'm the glad owner of this screwdriver set =P

Worst hip-hop video clip ever!

This has to be the worst hip-hop video clip ever, hands down. Here is de description of the clip. "This music video is about a man whom befriended a fatherless ghetto boy. The boy stole from him time and time again. This video also speaks of a man who fathered twins with a woman he felt no love for. This song is highly emotional and it's not about how well the singer is it's about expression of hard times." Enjoy.

Gov't Mule - Beautifully Broken (Live)

Gov't Mule at there best with one of there most beautiful songs. Here are the lyrics. Enjoy!

My new home!

I've got the key on December the 1st and I'm going to move on Monday the 18th of December to my new home. Why the almost three weeks delay I hear you ask. Well, my bathroom had to be redone in those weeks and the builders are making progress. They should finish up on Friday with installing everything. Actually I they still need to install a wall and door made out of glass.

It's not a big bathroom but it's going to be beautiful bathroom with enough room to take a shower with three people. Click on the picture above for pictures of my house in general en below for my bathroom. I will update these photo sets as much as possible.

At this moment everything is really, really, dusty and I've had the weirdest most intense sneeze attacks. Everything I've bought so far like a couch and such are covered with plastic against the dust. Oh, I haven't mentioned this but I hate this like having to paint walls and doing other handyman work. So I'm pretty easily irritated these days =P But still everything is to dusty to just move in so I still have to clean a truckload of stuff, arghh!

Shot with my SE K800i Phone

I like to take pictures now and then and I don't have my camera with me all the time so I use my mobile phone. I have the Sony Ericsson K800i mobile phone with a 3.2 mega pixels Cybershot camera. Pretty decent quality, though not perfect, I still keep on shooting away =). So I updated and uploaded a truckload to Flickr, go check them out.

Here are the updated or newly created sets.

Rock on!

Worlds sexiest 46 year old!

Wow, I've seen her on television before and never thought that Nigella Lawson was 46. This has to be the world sexiest and most beautiful woman! Oh and she makes me watch the entire show when she's on, she's a tv cook btw. That's all.

Anti-Aids commercial

"The fastest growing group of people infected by HIV and Aids are heterosexual women under 30". Okay a powerful commercial, not for the faint hearted.

This feels like the 'Hans Brinker Budget Hotel' Campaign

Sweet commercial for The Bulldog Hotel, though Hans Brinker Budget Hotel use the same theme. Enjoy!

Rainbow Six: Las Vegas

Gaming is what I do on a regular basis, sometimes more then others. This weekend I've bought Rainbow Six: Las Vegas. A tactical shooter for the Xbox 360. It's not as easy as Ghost Recon Advanced Warfighter but a lot of fun to play. Look at the gameplay footage above and decide if you like it.

Derek Trucks owns Eric Clapton

People, I came across this clip on YouTube of course. It's an audience shot clip so it isn't as good as you would wish for. Still it sounds pretty decent. Here you listen to Derek Trucks ripping it up while touring with Eric Clapton. I'm in aw with what he pulls off here, man that boy can play. Enjoy!

Protect yourself!

I laughed really loud seeing these ads for the first time so I had to post them. Enjoy!

Real Deal Jeans

It, meaning this kind of art direction, may have been used before, but I like it!

Takecare. Takecare of your teeth.

A nice way to advertise don't you think.

Lester "badass" Butler

Yeahhh, found this on YouTube. I always loved the Red Devils, I've been on there guestlist and Lester gave me one of his mouth harps personally to me. Goodtimes, gooooodtimes, I had a great weekend ending up with me blacking out in the train while traveling to college. That's a long time ago, just as this was shot. This was shot while Lester was doing a rehearsel at the Maloe Melo in Amsterdam/Holland. Enjoy!

Black Crowes bootlegs DVD's - update!

I recently recieved a few bootlegs of the Black Crowes and some related to them. One is from the London show this year at the SBE I attended on March the 18th. Go check out my updated list here. I'm not trading at this moment due to the fact that I'm in between two houses, that I still have to move and everything is boxed and ready to be moved. Check out my list here!

Funny commercial for Ziddio especially when your in advertising. But I do believe it's going to miss the mark. Ziddio is a YouTube clone!

I have a kiwi tree.

This picture was taken in my backyard.

Yes people, in my small garden at my new house I have a kiwi tree . The fruit that is native to southern China is growing in my backyard. And as you can see in the picture above these kiwi's are pretty small. But then again it's December. I'm sure though that I can enjoy my homegrown kiwi's this summer.

Work by Sylvia Ji

Black Widow

I notice that I really like artist that show a hint of other greats like Gustav Klimt and Mucha. The bad thing is that I can only order print and not anything on canvas, I wish I could because I would to have some work made by her.

Artist info:
Sylvia Ji was born in 1982 in San Francisco to artistic parents. Ji’s interest in art was implanted at a very young age when she would look through her mother’s sketchbooks and watch her father paint. In her art, she explores themes of beauty, sexual provocation, and social notions of femininity juxtaposed against the dystopian reality of modern cities to create highly charged paintings of women. Some of her paintings are symbolic reflections of herself, portraits of people she knows or just nameless faces set in a landscape of fleeting and decaying beauty. She graduated with distinction from the Academy of Art University of San Francisco with a Bachelors in illustration and already had her first ambitious and successful solo show while still in her last year of school. Since then she has been in high demand, keeping continuously engaged in an onslought of numerous shows on the West Coast.

Buy her work here or take a look at her website here.

Derek Trucks speaks music

One of my all time favorite musicians out there. I saw the Derek Trucks Band live this year in Londen England. Enjoy this video!

I came across this site many times before without writing about it. It's a cool idea that could use more attention and that's why I'm writing about it. Not that I think it's actually going to help and them more sales but it's nice to know that there are people out there that take a chance and try to do something different.

T-Post is a subscription t-shirt service where, if subscribed, you'll receive a t-shirt every six weeks. T-Post designs a t-shirt based on a news item, not so much what you already have heard from the traditional news stream but more of the unusual.

The thing is that I think this would also work for brands. In a way to expand there consumer base. I think that brands like Vans, Dickies, Element or maybe even bands and such could also get into this. The only problem is how do you make it payable for the consumer. T-Post charges 26 Euros for every t-shirt they send. On the other hand it some good advertising for your company or band.

Go check out T-Post!

Feelin' Alright!

Okay I couldn't contain myself and I had to repost this cause I'm in a jolly mood. Even though this is a sad song it makes me happy =) So start enjoying some good old Rock & Roll.

Feed them

This ad has been posted everywhere so why not join the hype. A powerful visual that doesn't leave to much room to think about something other then feeding.
