We all learn from each other, and everything surrounding us we use, thus it's an influence. If I was to give credit to everything I say or do, to where it originated from. I wouldn't be able to say or do anything. That being said I would like to repeat the heading 'Copyright is censorship'. I feel that I, in actuality, don't own a thing. Yes it's in my house or whatever but what makes it mine? By 'human' law it's mine but in a philosophical sense it's just there. It doesn't have a conscious sense of what it is or where it's from and it doesn't have the ability to decide where to go. Those 'values' are given by us human to objects.
Why is copyright censorship? Imagine that somebody invented copyright while the cavemen ruled the world? What if Napoleon decided to claim copyrights over war? I feel that we, as humans, should have the chance to use each others knowledge more without the danger of being sued for copyright violations/infringements. Look at YouTube, a playground for video enthusiast, rip, mix and upload. In my eyes those are clips are honest expressions by the diverse internet community. Why do record labels want clips to be taken down? It's the best kind of advertising they can have. Excuse me for my rant but that's how I feel.
The real reason for this article is a article on another blog that showed how much the writers and directors use movies and tv-series as their influence. Click on this link for the comparisons.
Cheers

In about two and a half weeks I'll be flying over to London to see The Derek Trucks band and meet up with some people. One of the songs they play is a song composed Billy Taylor and later sang by Nina Simone. While I normally am not so focused on the lyrics these lyrics make you think about life.
I mean It's a beautiful protest song and not an angry one for the civil rights movement in 1950 of the U.S.A. But it's also something that we could all could find meaning in.
I wish I knew how it would feel to be free
I wish I could break all the chains holding me
I wish I could say all the things that I should say
say 'em loud, say 'em clear
for the whole round world to hear.
I wish I could share all the love that's in my heart
remove all the bars that keep us apart
I wish you could know what it means to be me
Then you'd see and agree
that every man should be free.
I wish I could give all I'm longing to give
I wish I could live like I'm longing to live
I wish that I could do all the things that I can do
though I'm way overdue I'd be starting anew.
Well I wish I could be like a bird in the sky
how sweet it would be if I found I could fly
Oh I'd soar to the sun and look down at the sea
and I'd sing cos I'd know that
and I'd sing cos I'd know that
and I'd sing cos I'd know that
I'd know how it feels to be free
I'd know how it feels to be free
I'd know how it feels to be free

Tonight season number nineteen starts of one of my favorite TV-shows The Simpsons. The espisode is called 'He Loves To Fly And He D'oh's' and here is the synopsis.
After Homer saves Mr. Burns from drowning in a mall fountain, Burns thanks him by taking him on a whirlwind trip to Chicago on his private plane. Homer is smitten with the luxury jet and all the perks that come with it, including flying with song legend Lionel Richie, who serenades him with a customized version of "Say You, Say Me." After returning home, Homer makes it his mission to find a job that offers him the chance to fly on a corporate jet and enlists a life coach, guest star Stephen Colbert, to help fulfill this dream.Cheers

Well, look at this yourself. I guess freedom of speech is a difficult thing in U.S.A. Share your thoughts.

If the trailer is just a hint on how funny this movie is going to be then it's going to be one hell of joyride. Enjoy!

Last friday we had a small party at work in honor of Ellen, she left us to work at one of the biggest insurance companies in the Netherlands. If I say 'Even Apeldoorn bellen' all the dutch people know who I'm talking about. Although it was a sad day I seemed to smile and someone got me good. This must be the first and only picture I've ever been happy about. Like most people I don't like the way I look in pictures but this one seem to be doing me good, lol. So I didn't want it to keep away from anyone.
